The Vaillant Diverter valve part is based on the diverter valve section. The diverter valve is an instrument that only appears in combi boilers. It allows the hot water to be directed to the central heating like radiators, etc., or to the hot water system linked taps, etc.

This useful Vaillant diaphragm pack is suitable for use in the diverter valve of COMBIcompact VCW (fan-assisted), COMBIcompact VCW (conventional flue), MAG (conventional flue), THERMOcompact VC-VCW (balanced flue) and MAG (balanced flue) boilers.  A directional water device in combi boilers, a diverter valve directs hot water into a heating system or a hot water system. This feature means that combis are able to provide both heating and hot water without the need for a storage cylinder.
