Suitable for use in above ground hot and cold domestic or potable water services in small bore and mini bore central heating systems, this end feed fitting can also be used in low-pressure steam heating and pressurised unvented heating systems. Suitable for sanitation services and compressed air lines as well as gas distribution systems for natural and manufactured gases, fuel oils (hard solder only) and kerosene, it also offers compatibility with engineering pipeline services that convey liquids, oils, air and gases at temperatures up to 110°C. A solder joint is created through the principle of capillary action. When heated to the correct temperature, the solder becomes molten, allowing it to be drawn into the gap between tube and fitting for a tough, reliable joint.
